Christopher Baldwin is a cartoonist and graphic novelist. He was a regular contributor to MAD Magazine for more than a decade. His graphic novel "Little Dee and the Penguin" was published in 2016 by Penguin/Dial books, and "Willowweep Manor," a graphic novel co-created with Shaenon Garrity, is due out in 2021 through Simon & Schuster. In 2018 he won the Toonie award for Cartoonist of the Year. He was one of the first webcartoonists, and has been posting comics regularly online since 1996, self-publishing over 20 comic collections and graphic novels.
His work showed in the "What, Me Worry? 60 years of MAD" exhibition at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, and he has work in their permanent archive, as well as in the archive of the the Center for Art + Environment at the Nevada Museum of Art. He was also included in an exhibition at the National Academy of Sciences in 2020. His graphic novel, "Glens Falls," was funded by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.
