Artist and Researcher Nina Elder’s Tangled: Systemic Suppression for FOREST⇌FIRE addresses the effect of fire suppression and catastrophic fire on forest soil health. In addition, during her time as an Artist-in-Resident at UC Berkeley - Sagehen Creek Field Station, Nina designed the project’s public outreach program.
